Click the option for "Password:", it is automatically disabled. Click it.

A screen will appear, enter your password. If no screen appears, you may have already set a password for another application, (Password Keeper etc.) that is your default password.
Set your number of password attempts. This is how many times you can guess your password before your phone is wiped/blanked of all it's memory. Use with caution.
Security Timeout means if you are not active on your phone for a certain period of time, it will automatically "Keyboard Lock" and you will have to enter your password.
Select yes or no for "Prompt on Application Install".
Finish up. You have now set your password!
Warnings
Make the password easy to remember, if you forget it, everything in your phone will be wiped, including addresses!
Just because your phone gets wiped, doesn't mean it can't get stolen.

Assigning speed dials on a Blackberry is relatively easy, given that you know what to do.

Hold down any letter or number (except the number 1)
Press yes when the blackberry asks if you want to assign a speed dial. Select yes by clicking the track wheel or by pressing enter.
Select your contact (it brings you to your adress book) by clicking the track wheel.

Tips

Steps
Press ALT+CAP+Backspace to reboot your stuck BlackBerry.
As soon as the screen comes back up, press ALT+CAP+Backspace again.
Check it is functioning. If it comes back to life, you don't need to remove the batteries.

Select "Receive Using Bluetooth" (You will see a "File Transfer - Waiting for connection" message).
Go to your MAC and open Bluetooth File Exchange.
Select "Send File".

Go to your Blackberry 8300 and Curve and notice a window asking you to "Please choose the location where you wish to save file"
Select "Save" located at the bottom left of the window.

Part2. Transfer contacts from Outlook to an iPhone You can import Outlook contacts to your iPhone by syncing your iPhone with iTunes.
